| Reality and hype in the ICT revolution: e-learning, e-health and informatics in primary care | |
|
CALL FOR ABSTRACTS We welcome presentations or workshops on any topic related to primary care or educational research. Whilst presentations focusing on the conference’s theme – e-learning, e-health and informatics - are very welcome, they will have no advantage when abstracts are assessed. Abstracts for parallel sessions Your abstract can be on completed or current research, or on educational issues. Abstracts that are accepted will be grouped into themes. Novice researchers are particularly encouraged to apply. Each presentation will be 15 minutes with 5 minutes for discussion and questions. Abstracts for workshops Workshop content may be related to the conference theme, or any subject which you consider conference attendees may value. There may be several presentations within each workshop, but we are keen that that structure of the session should encourage audience participation. Each workshop will last about 90 minutes, but can be shorter. The closing date for abstracts is 31 October 2006. You can find the application forms here. Student prize presentations - one per participating medical school Students not chosen by their medical school for the student competition, but who wish to present their work at the meeting, are welcome to apply in the usual way. Such students will be responsible for their own conference fees. |
